Talc, is a magnesium silicate mineral. According to the Mohs Scale, it’s hardness is 1-1.5 and is the softest mineral talc known. Talk gives the feeling of gliding when touched by hand. It is a mineral which is not affected by acids, is a very bright, chemically inert, has a high degree of melting, low heat and electricity transmission and with high absorption power.
